Daylight has the powers to manipulate any source of darkness. She can move around seperately from her body as her own shadow and interact with other shadows. Her weapons are purely made of darkness and can be manifested from the shade or anywhere where it's dark. The darker the darkness, the more durable and powerful the weapon. This is the same for her armor which is made from darkness which means she can change into her superhero costume just by turning off the lights, walking into a dark room, or finding shade somewhere. At night, she can conjure her weapons and armor anywhere outside under the night sky. 

  With immense concentration, Daylight can also erect a dome of darkness where she and anyone in it become completely invisible for as long as she could hold her concentration. She eventually learned to hold this dome for long periods of time while also knocking out any foes that find themselves stumbling around blindly inside of it with her. 

Dayleen is trained in a middle eastern style martial art called, Tahtib, as well as Tae Kwon Do, and thanks to Doctor Silver Sole, she is adept in Medieval Swordfighting. 

Her abilities allow her to infiltrate areas of interest and scout out their layouts before the team goes in, sometimes.
