Sailorman Chad is a brilliant scientist and naval engineer. Aside from his super intelligence, he is otherwise a normal human being who is vulnerable like everyone else, however, his upgraded super hydro suit gives him superhero-like abilities such as flight, speed swimming, water gliding, and moisture absorption or dehydration. 

The belt and gloves of his suit allow him to draw moisture out of the air, or, if he gets ahold of you, draw the water out of you causing dehydration. This moisture grabbing ability is done automatically as he wanders around in the suit in order to keep the water tanks for his hydro jet pack filled. 

  Chad also carries a non lethal assault Rifle that fires rounds of magnetically condensed water, most useful in underwater bouts. The higher the setting on the weapon, the more damage is done. The highest setting allows for penetration of vehicles both inside and outside of water (this is what the gun was created for).
